India's operational natural gas pipeline has increased by 62.6%, from 15,340 km in 2014 to 24,945 km by September 2024, according to the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Additionally, 10,805 km of pipeline development is currently underway. Once completed, these pipelines will form a national gas grid, connecting major demand and supply centers across India, as authorized by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).
