Shreyanka Patil has been nominated for the ICC Women's Emerging Cricketer of the Year award after an impressive year in international cricket. At 22, she became the first Indian to play in the Women's Caribbean Premier League in December 2023 and made her debut for India the same month. She has played 13 T20Is, taking 15 wickets, and has also taken four wickets in ODIs. Patil has been a key player for India in series against Australia, Bangladesh, South Africa, and in major tournaments.
