Australian spinner Nathan Lyon added another wicket to his Test tally on Day 1 of the Sydney match against India, dismissing Shubman Gill just before lunch. Gill tried to step out but edged the ball to Steve Smith in the slips, giving Lyon his 196th wicket in World Test Championship (WTC) history. With this, Lyon surpassed R Ashwin and Pat Cummins (195 wickets) on the WTC wickets list. He now moves closer to fellow Australian Glenn McGrath on the overall Test wickets chart.
