Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel arrived in India on January 2, 2025, for a three-day visit to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. He was welcomed by senior officials from India’s Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. The visit focuses on enhancing cooperation between the Maldives and India in areas such as maritime security, trade, investment, and regional stability.
