Rural Development Key to Achieving Vikshit Bharat: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the Rural Development Ministry aims to make villages poverty-free by 2025 through targeted initiatives. He described rural development schemes as efforts to improve villagers' lives. Since June 2024, 136 crore man-days have been created under MGNREGA, and the Amrit Sarovar Mission is entering Phase II. Chouhan stressed the need to monitor and complete the Awas+ survey by March 2025, ensuring progress in achieving the goal of transforming rural India.
