On Monday, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren transferred ₹2,500 each to over 56 lakh women across the state as the December instalment under the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana.’ A large event was held at Namkum Khojatoli Ground in Ranchi to celebrate the occasion, with around two lakh women from different parts of the state attending.
