Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for NTPC Green Energy Ltd's green hydrogen hub at Pudimadaka, near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. This will be the first green hydrogen hub under the Centre's National Green Hydrogen Mission.Prime Minister Modi said, "It is time for Andhra Pradesh to become a hub for future technologies," highlighting the importance of leading in emerging technologies like green hydrogen. The National Green Hydrogen Mission, launched in 2023, aims to produce 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030.
