The sacred doors of Rudranath Temple in Uttarakhand were closed for the winter season with traditional rituals. Following a special ceremony, the deity was adorned with ghee and white blankets. The festive palanquin will now travel to Gopinath Temple in Gopeshwar. For the next six months, devotees can offer their prayers and seek blessings at this winter worship site instead.
