On the seventh day of Navaratri, devotees worship Goddess Kalaratri with prescribed Vedic rituals at Dashain Ghars or prayer rooms, reciting Durga texts. The Fulpati ceremony is performed in the afternoon and, in tradition, Fulpati from Gorkha Durbar is carried in a ceremonial procession by a Nepal Army contingent to the Dashain Ghar at Hanumandhoka, attended by senior officials.
