Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad will host the 15-day Flower and Horticulture Festival, ‘Udyan Utsav,’ from December 29, 2024. The event promotes nature, environmental conservation, and sustainability. Visitors can explore thematic stalls, attend workshops, and learn about advancements in agriculture and horticulture. President Droupadi Murmu reviewed the festival preparations, inaugurated a Mitti Café eatery and a souvenir shop, and visited a compost unit on the campus, encouraging the production of organic manure from garden waste as an example of sustainability.
