India, in partnership with France Museums Développement (FMD), is building the Yuga Yugeen Bharat National Museum in New Delhi, covering 1,55,000 square meters across the North and South Blocks. Announced by Prime Minister Modi, this project is part of the Central Vista Redevelopment and will highlight India’s history and culture. Inspired by France’s famous museums like the Louvre, it will preserve heritage while transforming the blocks into cultural spaces. The first phase, North Block, is set to finish by June 2026.
