Oil prices remained near two-week highs on Monday after a 6% gain last week, driven by rising tensions between Russia, Iran, and Western powers, which could disrupt oil supplies. Brent crude rose 13 cents to $75.30 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude gained 14 cents to $71.38. Last week, both contracts saw their biggest weekly gains since September. Analysts warned that the escalating geopolitical tensions, including Russia’s missile strike and Iran’s actions on uranium enrichment, could impact oil supply.
