Lamborghini planned to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) in 2028 but has now delayed it to 2029, CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Reuters. This delay highlights a divide among European automakers on EVs. Lamborghini and Aston Martin are moving away from focusing solely on EVs, while Ferrari still plans to release its first EV next year. Porsche, on the other hand, has been ahead, selling its Taycan EV for years and preparing an electric 718 Cayman/Boxster for next year.
