A Norwegian mayor and his marine engineer nephew completed a 3,500-km Rickshaw Run from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, to Fort Kochi, Kerala, navigating deserts, poor roads, heavy traffic and cultural surprises. Over 13 days they faced heat, mechanical issues and stomach troubles but praised Indian hospitality, food and landscapes, valuing spontaneous encounters and local assistance throughout the journey.
