Former IAS officer Divya Mittal has launched her political party Jan Neeti Bharat and announced plans to contest the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. She says the party will place citizens at the center of policymaking. Mittal, who took voluntary retirement, cited administrative failures, unbuilt schools, delayed land transfers, damaged roads and exam paper leaks as reasons for entering politics.
