Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu praised Indian High Commissioner Munu Mahawar for his efforts in strengthening ties between the two countries during his tenure. Mahawar, who served as the Indian envoy since November 2021, expressed India’s support for the Maldives’ development and praised President Muizzu’s leadership. The two also reflected on Muizzu’s recent State visit to India, where both nations agreed on a vision for economic and maritime security partnership.
