India and Netherlands Discuss Strategic Partnership in Key Sectors

On December 18, 2024, Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Dick Schoof held a call to strengthen India-Netherlands relations. They discussed expanding cooperation in areas like water management, agriculture, healthcare, defense, green hydrogen, semiconductors, and innovation. Both leaders agreed to elevate their partnership to a strategic level. PM Modi emphasized India’s commitment to deepening ties, noting strong economic and cultural links. The Netherlands is now India’s third-largest export destination, with exports growing by 3.5% in 2023-24, reaching USD 22.36 billion.
