India's renewable energy capacity addition nearly doubled to 15 GW during the April-November period of this fiscal year compared to last year, according to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. Speaking at the CII International Energy Conference & Exhibition 2024, Joshi highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India is on track to become the world's renewable energy capital. The country has made significant strides in expanding renewable energy in the past decade.
