India is now the third-largest country for billionaires, with 185 in 2024, according to UBS' Billionaire Ambitions Report. The U.S. leads with 835 billionaires, followed by China with 427.
India added 32 new billionaires in the past year, a 21% growth. Since 2015, the number of billionaires in India has more than doubled, increasing by 123%, the report said.
