India recently strengthened defence ties with Nepal by gifting target practice drones to enhance Nepal's military training. During a meeting in New Delhi, Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel and Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi discussed regional security and cooperation. The drones will enable realistic training, frequent drills, and data collection to improve readiness. India also provided advanced medical equipment for Nepal's field hospitals. This move aligns with India's self-reliance goals and regional defence collaboration efforts.
