After nine attempts, Jackson biker Charlie Hagen placed fourth in the LOTOJA race, riding from Logan, Utah to Teton Village and finishing 0.21 seconds behind third. In Jackson, student Metta Curzon and nurse Bethany Shinder started Heart Beaters Club to certify youth in CPR, first aid, and AED use. Rock Springs honored paramedic Larry Macy, and Sen. Cynthia Lummis received a Defender of Limited Government Award.
