The Punjab Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development will run a two-week dairy training course from October 5 to 16 at the Dairy Training and Extension Centre in Verka. The programme, directed by the state dairy department, includes counselling on October 5 and training in milk-product preparation, farm management, breed improvement and balanced nutrition to promote sustainable livelihoods and self-employment for dairy farmers.
