Ambuja Cements has completed a 200 MW solar power project in Khavda, which will supply green energy to 20 cement plants and cut power costs by 70%. As part of a 1 GW renewable energy plan, this project aims to meet 60% of Ambuja’s power needs from renewable sources by FY’28. The remaining 806 MW, including wind and solar projects, will be ready by mid-2025. This initiative is part of a ₹10,000 crore investment in green energy, supporting net-zero emissions goals by 2050.
