Tesla plans to roll out unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) for privately owned cars around Q2 next year with FSD V15, but it will be limited to geofenced areas where Tesla operates its Robotaxi service. Initially available in parts of seven metropolitan regions, the feature won’t cover most US roads and long autonomous road trips remain unlikely.
