Delhi Police has banned laser beams and light shows near IGI Airport until November 17 after pilots reported distractions during aircraft landings. The restriction covers banquet halls, hotels, restaurants, farmhouses and other establishments in the Palam area. Police said laser beams can affect pilots at a critical stage of flight, prompting the preventive measure to protect passengers, crew and aircraft.
