As energy, trade and technology become geopolitical tools, India must expand energy security beyond oil and gas imports to include control of technologies, resilient supply chains, domestic manufacturing and diversified generation. To ensure affordable, reliable and secure power, India should scale renewables, storage, nuclear, hydrogen, and domestic mineral processing while strengthening industry, R&D, and international partnerships.
