Netflix and Shondaland announced a surprise limited Bridgerton spin-off chronicling the youthful romance of Violet and Viscount Edmund Bridgerton, with Shonda Rhimes and Nicholas Nardini as showrunners. The Regency era series joins the Bridgerton universe alongside the upcoming fifth season, whose production began in the UK and will premiere in 2027.
