US Lawmakers Urge Rubio to Question India Over Student Protest Crackdown, While MEA Pushes Back on the Allegations ⚖️

Six US Democratic lawmakers, led by Pramila Jayapal, urged Secretary of State Marco Rubio to raise alleged excessive force and repression against Cockroach Janata Party-linked student protesters with Indian officials during his India visit. Jayapal also accused the Indian Embassy and consulates of monitoring protesters, while India's MEA denied interference and rejected her electoral-roll criticism.
