Released worldwide on October 15, 2026, Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth reprise Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in a commercially driven action-thriller. Early reactions are mixed-to-positive: critics and audiences praise his star power, Anirudh's score, sharp first-half comedy and action, while many note a slower, familiar-paced second half. Cameos and crowd-pleasing moments boost its mass appeal.
