Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is reportedly creating a fully developed ancient language for his upcoming Telugu film Varanasi. Hired linguists are said to be designing phonetics and a written script, which will play a narrative role as characters learn inscriptions to unravel a multi-era mystery. The fantasy drama stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
