Smriti Mandhana has been appointed captain of India’s women’s cricket team after Harmanpreet Kaur ended her 10-year tenure. Already a two-time WPL-winning captain with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mandhana now takes charge of India across formats. Her first assignment begins October 16 with a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, opening a new chapter for one of India’s leading batters.
