State Bank of India said a review of about 375,000 records on the dark web flagged 3,897 items potentially linked to its customers, though authenticity and origin remain under investigation. The data allegedly included names, contact details, identifiers and loan metadata. SBI activated containment measures, notified affected customers, and said operations were unaffected while probes continue.
