India’s men’s cricket team has reached the semi-finals of the 2026 Asian Games after its quarter-final against Afghanistan was abandoned due to heavy rain. India advanced as the higher-ranked side and will face either Sri Lanka or Nepal next. The team, led by Shreyas Iyer, is aiming to retain the gold medal India won at the 2023 Hangzhou Games.
