Radhika Merchant Ambani’s latest look, designed by Mayyur Girotra with Swadesh artisans and styled by Rhea Kapoor, showcases centuries-old Kalamkari painting reimagined in contemporary fashion. Hand-painted scenes of Krishna Leela, Kalpavriksha and flora are embellished with zardozi, pitta and appliqué, transforming textile paintings into sculptural garments while highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s protected Kalamkari traditions and regional centres.
