Andhra Pradesh Counter Intelligence Cell dismantled a cross border espionage network targeting defence establishments, notably in Visakhapatnam, during Operation Firewall 2026. Twelve specialised teams across ten states and union territories examined 18 suspects, including 13 naval personnel, seized digital evidence, and arrested two accused in Visakhapatnam and Coimbatore. Investigations and legal proceedings continue.
