Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, was released a day after detention by Delhi police while attempting to join protests at Connaught Place against the Election Commission. He was freed under undisclosed conditions. The demonstrations oppose the Special Intensive Revision that removed over 130 million voters, raising allegations of bias and prompting arrests of other CJP leaders.
