Odisha aims to raise urbanisation from 17% to 40% and become a $500 billion economy by 2036, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said. The government is expanding urban infrastructure, launching electric buses and extending Ama Bus services to nine more cities, advancing housing, 24-hour tap water, investment proposals and the Bhubaneswar-Kataka-Puri-Paradip economic region.
