Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced no new liquor shops will open in the state for the next three years and urged eradication of substance abuse. Speaking at a Police Commissionerate awareness event, he emphasized zero-tolerance for drugs, launched a drug-free website, cited alcohol-related deaths, and ordered stricter enforcement against illicit liquor and high-risk drugs.
