Mumbai Police will deploy more than 23,000 personnel and 10,000 cameras, including AI-enabled systems, across major Ganpati immersion points for Anant Chaturdashi on September 25. Drones will monitor crowd density, while more than 3,500 traffic personnel will manage procession routes. Specialised units and additional control rooms have also been deployed, with police coordinating with Railways and Metro services for the crowds.
