Mumbai Airports Halt Russian Airline Cargo Over Sanctions Concerns

Cargo booked with Russian airlines Aeroflot and Volga-Dnepr has been held up at Mumbai airports amid concerns over compliance with US sanctions. Around 2.5 tonnes of cargo is currently stuck, while another 12.5 tonnes awaits clearance. The restrictions come as Adani Airports expands its global investor base, including US funds, while India does not enforce unilateral US or EU sanctions.
