Dr. M.K. Muneer of the IUML has been appointed chairman of Kerala’s State Administrative Reforms Commission with Cabinet rank, ending a dispute over the post. His appointment followed tensions with Congress, which sought the role for senior leaders. The commission will study and recommend administrative, rule and decentralization reforms. The cabinet also named G. Devarajan as Kerala’s Special Representative in New Delhi.
