Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharne has assured farmers that the state will prioritise relief measures after a severe dry spell affected standing kharif crops. During a visit to Sangamner, Bharne reviewed damaged soybean fields and directed officials to address crop insurance concerns. A relief notification covering crop insurance, farm loan waivers, fodder and drinking water is expected within the next two to three days.
