R Madhavan's 21-year-old son Vedaant Madhavan will represent India in swimming at the 20th Asian Games in Japan. He announced the selection on Instagram, calling it a lifelong dream and thanking supporters. Vedaant is entered in the 200m freestyle, 200m backstroke and the men's 4x200m freestyle relay, with heats in the mornings and finals in the evenings at Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
