Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to five days of judicial custody after allegedly entering Delhi’s Jantar Mantar protest site without authorisation. Police said the site had been denotified for demonstrations, while the leaders were seeking to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Party representatives have raised concerns over the handling of the arrests.
