Delhi Police has de-notified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site and named Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in East Delhi as new venues in a standing order dated October 11. The decision follows a Home Affairs committee recommendation; a revised SOP for demonstrations at the three locations will be issued, while handling of pending requests remains unclear.
