External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said the Line of Actual Control must remain stable for India-China ties to normalise, warning that any border disturbance would have consequences. Speaking at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum, he linked expanded trade and investment to peace along the border, noted post-2024 stabilisation, and flagged persistent economic imbalances with China.
