ISRO’s space docking postponed second time

ISRO has postponed the docking of two satellites for the second time. The docking, part of the Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX), was delayed because one satellite drifted more than expected. Initially planned for January 7, it was rescheduled for January 9 but has been postponed again. ISRO stated that while moving the spacecraft closer, the drift was higher than expected. The satellites remain safe. The SpaDeX mission, costing Rs 375 crore, aims to achieve autonomous docking of two unmanned spacecraft.
