Indian surfer Kishore Kumar Anbarasu’s Asian Games campaign ended in the men’s shortboard quarterfinals after he lost to the Philippines’ Toby Espejon 5.37-8.53. Anbarasu had reached the last eight as surfing made its debut at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. Despite missing the medal rounds, his run marked India’s first appearance in the sport at the continental event.
