India's gem and jewellery exports rose 9.4% year-on-year to $3 billion in September 2026, driven by gold jewellery and polished lab-grown diamonds, the GJEPC said. April, September shipments reached $14.3 billion, up 3.1%, with strong studded-gold and lab-grown diamond gains, while cut-and-polished diamonds and some segments faced price and market pressures.
