India's High Commissioner to Fiji, Suneet Mehta, handed over 12 agricultural drones to Fiji's Minister for Agriculture, Tomasi Tunabuna, in Lautoka to boost efficient, technology-driven and sustainable sugarcane production nationwide. The donation to Fiji Sugar Corporation fulfills a pledge made during Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka's visit to New Delhi in August 2025 and complements India's wider agricultural cooperation including training and support services.
